Buffalo, N.Y. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team returned to action on Tuesday, finishing in 2nd place at the Hilbert Invitational.
The Panthers posted a team score of 333, which was just 3 strokes behind the winning team, Hilbert.
Ben Tubbs led the Panthers, carding an 80 for the day. He finished tied for 2nd, one stroke behind the individual winner. Finishing just after Tubbs was Brody Kamuda and Connor Smith who both shot 81s. Max Bizzak rounded out the scoring with a 90, while Curtis Barner carded a 91. Andrew Heinze played as an individual and shot an 86.
The Panthers will be back in action in two days when they play in the Grove City Fall Invitational. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
