Golf Finishes 3rd at Thiel College Invitational

Hermitage, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team began the Spring portion of its campaign on Sunday, finishing in 3rd at the Thiel College Invitational.

The Panthers finished with a team score of 327. Westminster won the event at 300 with Grove City finishing a stroke behind them at 301.

Broderick Kamuda and Evan Jordan were the low finishers for the Panthers. They were tied for 15th with identical scores of 79. 

Max Bizzak took 26th after shooting an 82, while Andrew Jeinze carded an 87 to finish the scoring. Conor Smith shot an 88 to wrap up the action for the Panthers. 

The Panthers will be right back in action on Thursday, as they will head to Buffalo to play in a tri-match with Medaille and Keuka. The action is slated to begin at 12:00 p.m. at Diamond Hawk Golf Course.
