Panthers Improve Score, Finish in 15th

Nashport, Oh. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team was back on the course at Virtues Golf Club on Tuesday for round 2 of the Region V Preview Invitational. The Panthers improved their score by 3 strokes but dropped to 15th place in the final standings.

Pitt-Bradford finished round 2 with a score of 350, shaving three strokes off of their first-round total. They finish with a score of 703, 10 strokes behind Augustana in 14th.

Evan Jordan shot the low round for the Panthers with an 83. His 2-round total of 167 was the best for the Panthers and put him in 40th place overall. Broderick Kamuda dropped back to 42nd as he shot an 89 on day 2, giving him a total of 169. Max Bizzak was able to shave off one stroke in the second round, shooting a 91 for a total of 183. After a tough first round, Connor Smith took 10 shots off his score to card an 87 and an overall score of 184. Dominic Puma rounded out the scores for the Panthers with a 109.

With the Region V Preview in the rear window, the Panthers will now have a week to prepare for the AMCC Championship Tournament. The two-round event will begin on Monday, October 10th, and will be held at Nevillewood Country Club in NEvillewood, Pa.
