Panthers Finish 11th at Grove City Invitational

Grove City, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team finished in 11th out of 18 teams at Thursday's Grove City Invitational, held at Grove City Country Club. The Panthers finished the tournament with 351 strokes.

Brody Kamuda was the low finisher for the Panthers. He shot a 12-over par 84, which put him in 34th place out of 95 competitors. Evan Jordan also had a top 50 finish for the Panthers. Jordan was one stroke behind Kamuda, Finishing with an 85. 

Rounding out the scoring for the Panthers were Jarod Chaffee and Drew Swanson. Chaffee carded a 90, while Swanson finished 2 strokes behind with a 92. Sean Cambell shot a 95 on the day, while Dominic Puma finished with a 92 playing as an individual.

The Panthers will have a full week before they return to action. Next weekend, they will travel south for two tournaments. On Saturday, they will play in the Penn State-Altoona Invitational at Sinking Valley Country Club in Altoona, and follow that up with the Mount Aloysius Invitational at Summit Country Club in Cresson.
