Panthers, Ignaczak Lead AMCC Championship after First Round

Warren, OH -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team and junior Cary Ignaczak lead the AMCC Championship Golf Tournament after the first round of play on Sunday.

Looking to defend their 2018 AMCC title, the Panthers shot a 320 as a team in the first round. They lead the tournament by 4 strokes over Penn State Behrend and by 9 over Penn State Altoona.

Individually, Cary Ignaczak carded a 5-over par 77 for the first round. He is tied with JT Kuchnicki of Penn State Behrend for the 18-hole lead. Cooper Cordova and Sam Marchini both shot 8-over par 80 to finish the first round in a tie for 5th. Matt Moonan posted an 83 to round out the four carded scores for Pitt-Bradford. Jamie Rook shot an 89 to round out the team's performances.

The final round of the tournament is scheduled for Monday.
