
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team finished second in the Grove City Invitational Thursday afternoon at Grove City Country Club.
The Panthers combined for a score of 307, just three strokes behind Grove City, which defended its home course and captured the victory over 15 other teams.
Pitt-Bradford held off Thiel, which shot a 309 as a team.
The next-best AMCC finisher was Penn State-Behrend, which shot a 314.
Matt Moonan tied for third with a score of 75, just two strokes back of the leader.
Two strokes back of Moonan were Sam Marchini and Jamie Rook, who each shot a 77.
Cary Ignaczak was one stroke behind at 78 and Cooper Cordova shot an 86.
Up next, Pitt-Bradford will compete in the La Roche Invitational Tuesday.
