DUBOIS, Pa. -- Matt Moonan used the program's lowest score in history to lead the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team to a victory at the Penn State-DuBois Invitational Monday.

The Panthers have finished first in both events so far this season as Monday's victory is Pitt-Bradford's second of the season.

The lowest single round in program history -- Moonan's 69 -- led all golfers, and the team's 303 as a team was 19 strokes better than the next-highest finisher of Kent State Tuscarawas' 322.

Behind Moonan was Cary Ignaczak, Cooper Cordova and Sam Marchini who each shot a 78.

Rounding out the Panther performers was Jamie Rook, who shot an 85.

Though the squad is just two events into its 2019-20 campaign, the Panthers have already edited the record book twice as in its first event of the season, Pitt-Bradford shot the lowest round in program history of 299 en route to winning the Pitt-Bradford Invitational at its home course of Pennhills.

Up next, Pitt-Bradford will head to Grove City Thursday.
