BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team finished second of four teams at the Medaille Invitational at Fox Valley Country Club Thursday.

Cooper Cordova finished as the event's individual winner with a score of 76 -- shooting a 38 on both the front nine and back nine holes. His score was five strokes better than the next highest score of 81.

As a team, the Panthers shot a 334, six strokes behind Medaille, which shot a winning 328 at its home course.

"Congrats to Cooper on his first victory at Pitt-Bradford," Head Coach Keith Stauffer said. "The rest of the team needs some work on course management."

Cary Ignaczak shot the next best score for Pitt-Bradford with an 84.

Matt Moonan, Jarod Chaffee and Johnny Fiore all finished with scores of 87.

Up next, Pitt-Bradford will have a busy weekend as it travels to Penn State-Altoona Saturday (Sinking Valley Country Club) and Mount Aloysius Sunday (Summit Country Club).
