GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team participated in a spring event at Thiel Saturday, finishing fourth out of eight competing teams.

"I'm happy with their play today, considering the limited amount of practice time we've had," Head Coach Keith Stauffer said. "It shows our spring break trip was very beneficial."

The Panthers shot 324 as a team.

Brett Gardner led the Panthers with an 80, fittingly ending his collegiate golfing career as Pitt-Bradford's lone graduating senior.

Matt Moonan and Jamie Rook were right behind with 81.

Cary Ignaczak shot an 82 and Sam Marchini fired an 89.

Washington & Jefferson shot the event-best 304.

The event caps the 2017-18 season for the Panthers, who finished fourth out of nine at the 2017 AMCC Championships.
