Panthers Finish Seventh At Mount Aloysius Invitational

CRESSON, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team shot a 323 at the Mount Aloysius Invitational on a humid Sunday afternoon.

The Panthers finished seventh out of 16 teams, with La Roche capturing the top score of 301.

"We hung in there under some difficult conditions," Head Coach Keith Stauffer said. "Jamie played extremely well again and is starting to become a consistently solid performer for the team. As a unit, once we sharpen the short game, we'll be in good shape."

Jamie Rook paced the Panthers with a 77, and Sam Marchini was three strokes behind at 80.

Cary Ignaczak shot an 82 and Brett Gardner followed close behind at 84. Matt Moonan rounded out the scoring at 88.

The Panthers will be in action next on Tuesday as they travel to La Roche on Tuesday for a competition at Wildwood Country Club.
