Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team saw their third different player honored by the AMCC this season as Jeremy Rodriguez was named the conference's Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

The sophomore from Philadelphia, P. led the Panthers to another 2-0 week, averaging 27.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game. In the triple-overtime win at Hilbert, he scored 39 points and recorded a double-double, gathering 10 rebounds. He scored the last eight points in the second overtime, including the game-tying three, and then followed that up with 13 points in the third.

This is the first career AMCC Player of the Week award for Rodriguez, who was previously named AMCC Newcomer of the Year in 2022-23. This is the fourth time a Panther has been named AMCC Player of the Week this season, after Jamarion Butler took home the honor on January 6th and 20th, and Braylen Salters won the award on December 16th.

Rodriguez and the rest of the Panthers are currently 19-1 on the season, with a 12-0 record in AMCC play. They will be on the road on Wednesday, as they travel to Alfred State, where a win will give Pitt-Bradford a share of the AMCC regular-season title for the first time since 2001-02.
