Butler Earns 1st Team All-AMCC Accolades

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball program had a player named 1st Team All-AMCC for the third straight season as junior Jamarion Butler was selected as an all-conference performer on Tuesday.

Butler led the Panthers to their first winning season in 10 years, as they finished the year with a 14-12 record, earning the 5th seed in the AMCC Tournament. Butler averaged 17.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.2 steals per game while shooting 44.4% from the field. He was 3rd in the AMCC in scoring, 2nd in steals per game, and top 25 in rebounds and assists per game. n conference play, he was 2nd in the conference in points per game at 18.7 per contest.  Butler scored at least 20 points eleven times, and had a season high of 31 in the Panthers road win at Mount Aloysius. He posted two double-doubles in home wins over Penn State-Behrend and Pitt-Greensburg.

Butler's appearance on the first team marks the 3rd straight appearance for the Panthers program, as Nathan Schneider earned the honor the last two seasons.
