FREDONIA, N.Y. -- A slow second half from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team allowed Fredonia to complete the non-conference win on its home court Tuesday, 79-53.

With the result, Pitt-Bradford moves to 3-11 while Fredonia improves to 2-11.

Desmond Brogsdale dropped 11 points and Reggie Rogers scored 10 to lead the Panthers' offensive effort.

Justin Kusiappouh led the Panthers with nine rebounds and also chipped in seven points.

The Blue Devils held a 29-19 with 7:42 left in the first half, but the Panthers closed the period strong.

A layup from Jeffrey Fry with 1:17 remaining gave the Panthers the lead.

Pitt-Bradford ended the half on a 15-4 run and took a 34-33 lead into the break.

But Fredonia held Pitt-Bradford to 22.7 percent shooting (5-22) and 1-6 from three-point range in the second half for 19 points and the Blue Devils pulled away.

Fredonia shot 51.7 percent (15-29), made seven three-pointers and went 9-10 from the free-throw line to score 46 points in the second half.

For the whole game, Fredonia shot 11-27 on three-pointers.

Ugwunna Amadi collected two steals as part of the 10 turnovers forced by the Panthers.

The Panthers won the rebounding battle, 32-28. In addition to Kusiappouh's nine boards, Rogers and Dylan Mitchell pulled down five apiece.

Rogers, Mitchell and Jacob Sutton dished a pair of assists each.

Pitt-Bradford will have a quick turnaround as it returns home Wednesday to host D'Youville for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchup. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. with the women's game coming before at 6 p.m.
