PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team fell at Chatham, 98-63, in a non-conference game Wednesday night.

"We did not play a very good game tonight," Head Coach Sean Brown Sr. said. "Our second-performance was really disappointing.  We'll get ready for our next conference game Saturday."

Desmond Brogsdale led the way for the Panthers with a double-double of 14 points and 10 boards.

Dylan Niedermeyer scored 11 points and grabbed as many rebounds to also earn a double-double.

Sahlil Harris chipped in 10 points to also score in double-figures for Pitt-Bradford.

Chatham scored the first points of the game on a jumper inside the three-point line, but three straight buckets from Brogsdale put the Panthers up 6-2 at the 16:51 mark.

The Cougars then ripped off a 13-0 run over the next three minutes and took a 15-6 lead at the 13:25 point.

A jumper from Brogsdale ended the Panthers' scoring drought, but the Cougars responded with six-straight points to take a 21-8 lead with 11 minutes left in the first half. 

But the Panthers would respond with a run of their own, a 10-2 run capped by a Christian Kelly-Perkins three-ball with Reginald Rogers chipping in four points. With the run, Pitt-Bradford cut the Chatham lead to 23-18 with 7:36 left. 

Chatham later went ahead 37-25 at the 3:18 mark, but Pitt-Bradford would end the first half with a 12-3 run, and the two teams went into the break with Chatham ahead, 40-37 

Harris opened up the second half with a make, and Dylan Niedermeyer answered a Chatham jumper with a bucket of his own to bring the score back to within one point, 42-41, two minutes into the second half.

That would be as close as the Panthers would get, though, as Chatham would eventually hold the Panthers off and go on an 18-2 run to open up a 60-43 lead with 13:50 and hold the double-digit deficit the rest of the game.

Down the stretch, Darius Jones scored five-straight points for the Panthers. Zach Dahlstrand scored the final bucket for Pitt-Bradford.

Niedermeyer scored six points in the second half.

Rogers dished four assists to lead the Panthers.

Up next, the Panthers will resume conference play as they travel to Franciscan Saturday.
