UPB Men Fall at Juniata

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team (2-6) fell, 63-51, Saturday afternoon at Juniata College (9-1).

Evan Greening led the Panthers with 15 points and seven rebounds while Eric Matheson followed with 14 points and three assists. Manny Welch chipped in with 12 points and Colton Holzwarth added eight points in the loss.

Juniata took the lead early in the first half, eventually holding a 27-23 advantage at the half. However, the Eagles came out even stronger in the second half, extending their lead to as many as 14 late in the second half to earn the victory. 

Marcus Lee, Seth Brewer and Brandon Martinazzi led a balanced Juniata attack, scoring 14 points each while Dennis Fisher added eight points off of the bench.

The UPB men's basketball team returns to action Tuesday, December 29 at Wooster.
