Chelsea Schwab is in her fourth season as the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford's head men's and women's swimming coach.
In 2022-23, Schwab led the men's team to a 7-7-1 record, while the women were also able to earn four victories. She coached two swimmers, Conan Young and Isabella Cercone to All-AMCC Honors. Young had a historic season for the Panthers, breaking a pair of program records, while also becoming the first Panther to win an event at the Allegheny Empire Swimming Championship meet, taking the 1650-yard freestyle in 16:20.23. His time was just four seconds off of qualifying for the national meet.
Schwab joins the Pitt-Bradford community from Bradford Area High School, where she served as the head coach for boys' and girls' varsity swimming since 2016. Additionally, Schwab has served as the head coach for the City of Bradford boys and girls summer swim team.
Schwab attended Pennsylvania State University at University Park, where she graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in community and economic development. While attending Penn State, Schwab competed in club swimming.
In addition to her duties as a coach, Schwab also serves as the Aquatics Director for Pitt-Bradford.
