Schneider Named AMCC Player of the Week for Third Time this Season

Bradford,  Pa. -- University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball player Nathan Schneider once again earned recognition from the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference as he was named AMCC Player of the Week for the third time this season on Monday.

Schneider had a huge week for Pitt-Bradford as the Panthers picked up a pair of AMCC victories. He averaged 28.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 3.5 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game. Schneider shot 55.9% from the field on the week, including 44.4 from three, and added 14-of-17 from the line. He scored 31 with eight rebounds (three offensive) in the three-point win over Pitt-Greensburg, playing all 40 minutes. At Alfred State, Schneider scored 25 while recording nine rebounds, seven assists, and four steals.

Schneider won the award 4 times last season, bringing his career total to 7. He currently leads the AMCC in scoring (24.1 ppg), and rebounding (8.9 rpg) and is also in the top 5 in the conference in shooting percentage (57.9%) assists per game (3.1), and steals per game (2.2). He also ranks 4th in all of NCAA Division III in points per game.
