HAMBURG, N.Y. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's volleyball team captured its fifth-straight victory as it came out on top at Hilbert Tuesday in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match.

"It's always nice to get a conference win on the road," Head Coach Tom Roof said. "This win keeps our momentum going. Payton did another nice job keeping our offense moving, and Emily, especially, got a lot of good swings in as a result. We also served really well with a lot of aces from a lot of different players."

With the win, the Panthers extend the conference's longest winning streak to five and improve to 5-2 in AMCC action.

Pitt-Bradford got off to a strong start, winning the first set in a dominant fashion, 25-8.

Erin Fagan was on fire for the Panthers in the first set, knocking six kills on six attempts for a perfect hitting percentage.

The next two sets were more competitive as Hilbert found its offensive rhythm.

The Hawks held an early lead, and the Panthers had to battle back to match them at 7-7.

Both teams were tight the rest of the set, with neither taking a commanding lead until a late Pitt-Bradford rally gave the Panthers a 25-20 win in the set.

Katie Rose saw the most volume for Pitt-Bradford as a hitter in the set, knocking four kills in 10 attempts. Sydney Shepherd also had four kills in the set. 

The Hawks had a tough time with the Panthers' serves in the set with Pitt-Bradford earning four aces – two of which from Kamryn Piscitelli.

Set three was much of the same as the two teams jostled for position.

But ultimately, Pitt-Bradford came together and earned the 25-21 win in the set, claiming the conference victory. 

Emily Cleveland led the way for the Panthers with five kills in the set on seven attempts.

In total, Fagan led the Panthers with seven kills in the match while Cleveland, Riley Anderson and Ally Easton followed with five apiece. Payton Orzech assisted 28 of Pitt-Bradford's kills.

Laura Hildebrand had 16 digs, and Fagan had a pair of solo blocks and assisted one.

Pitt-Bradford's next match will be on the road at La Roche on Saturday.
