Women's Soccer to Celebrate Senior Day Against Pitt-Greensburg

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's soccer team will take on Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday, celebrating their 3 graduating seniors in a ceremony prior to the game.

Alannah Allen, Emily Goetz, and Sadie Wood will all be recognized for their contributions to the program. Allen has played 25 games for the Panthers over two seasons, starting 22 of them in the midfield. She has taken 12 shots, putting 3 on target. Emily Goetz has played 33 times for the Panthers, starting 30 games in the Panther midfield and defense. She has scored 6 career goals and assisted twice. Sadie Wood has logged 25 games in the Panther goal, starting 16 times. she has made 195 saves in her career and has a .722 save percentage.

The Panthers are 0-11 on the season and 0-3 in AMCC play. They are coming off of a 5-2 home defeat to Hilbert in their midweek matchup. Emily Goetz scored both goals in the game, with both tallies coming off of free kicks. Goetz shares the team lead in goals with Delaney Stowe. Both players have scored 3 times. Sadie Wood has been a mainstay in the Panther net, playing every minute for the Panthers this season. She has made 135 saves and has a .730 save percentage.

The Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats are 10-3-1 this season and are currently tied for first in the AMCC standings with a 3-0 record. They are riding a 2-game win streak, and are coming off of a 5-1 victory over LaRoche. Megan Hickey leads the Bobcats with 14 goals on the season, including 6 game-winners. Preseason Co-Offensive Player of the Year Ashley Lucas has scored 11 times and assisted on 4 more goals.
