Panthers to Host Hawks on Game 2 of Homestand

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's soccer team will play Hilbert on Tuesday night, their second home match in the midst of a 4-game homestand.

The Panthers (0-10, 0-2) come into the game after a tough 4-2 loss to Mount Aloysius on Saturday. They were able to take an early lead as Mia Camps scored her first career goal in the 17th minute. The visitors were able to even the score in the 25th and then go ahead in the second half as they scored 3 goals in the first 12 minutes after the break. Pitt-Bradford was able to get a consolation goal on a chipped shot from Emily Goetz in the 88th minute. For the season, Delaney Stowe remains the team leader with 3 goals. Sadie Wood has played every minute in goal for Pitt-Bradford, making 129 saves.

The Hilbert Hawks have a 3-5-3 record so far this season and are 0-1-1 in AMCC play. Over the weekend, they finished their AMCC match with Penn State-Altoona in a 1-1 draw. Chloe Champagne scored the game-tying goal in the 72nd minute on a feed from Grace Zabawa. Hailey Kuder made 10 saves for the Hawks. Gabrielle Avallone has led the Hawks' attack, scoring 7 goals and assisting on 3 more. Grace Zabawa has scored 6 times and added 4 assists. Kuder has played the majority of minutes in goal for Hilbert. She has 56 saves on the season and a .718 save percentage. 

The Game is scheduled to kick off at 4:15 p.m. at the Kessel Athletic Complex.
