Panthers Back In Action At Home Tuesday Against Penn State-Behrend

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's bowling team will compete for the first time since December on Tuesday as Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference rival Penn State-Behrend comes to Byllye Lanes.

The Panthers picked up a trio of wins in the Wildcat DII-DIII Invitational hosted by Wilmington University in Deleware, their most recent competition. 

Pitt-Bradford earned a victory over the tournament host and also against conference opponents Penn State-Altoona and New Jersey City.

The top performer for the Panthers during the three-day event was Kelsey Hammons, who averaged 18.88 pins on day three and 18.04 overall for both baker days. 

Pitt-Bradford and Penn State-Behrend have crossed paths already this season. The two teams met in the AMCC Round Robin on Nov. 11 and 12, with the Panthers coming out on top, 669-592.

During that day's action at the AMCC Round Robin, Hammons led the Panthers, posting a 16.85 baker average. Haley Ward had the next highest at 15.82.

Also, Megan Stinnard averaged 13.73 pins, while Jenna Lofaro posted a 12.55 average. Abbey Kalin rounded out the Panther performers with a 12.13 baker average.

Tuesday's match will begin at 7 p.m.
