Pitt-Bradford To Take On Mount Aloysius For Saturday Road Match

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's bowling team will travel to the Mount Aloysius for a match Saturday.

Mount Aloysius and the Panthers both competed in the first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Round Robin last weekend.

The Mounties came out on top over the rest of the conference in the event last weekend, grabbing victories in all seven of its matches while also knocking down 6,068 total pins.

Pitt-Bradford finished the event in third place with a 5-2 mark and the third-highest pinfall at 5,062.

The two teams matched up on the first day of the event, and the result served as the lone loss of the day in the four matches for the Panthers.

Pitt-Bradford gave Mount Aloysius a strong match, picking up wins in two of the five games.

On the season, Kelsey Hammons leads the team with a 16.88 baker average while Brianna Saylor is second at 15.76. Haley Ward is third close behind at 15.29.

Hammons is also the top performer in the team format with an average of 173.25 pins, while Ward holds the single-game high of 196 pins.

Saturday's match will begin at 12 p.m.
