Panthers Women's, Men's Soccer To Open AMCC Action At Mount Aloysius Saturday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford soccer programs will open conference play Saturday with a road trip to Mount Aloysius.

The Panthers women's team is coming off a setback against Westminster (Pa.) Thursday.

Courtney Shade netted a penalty kick in the final minutes of the contest for the Panthers' lone goal.

Emily Bethal played all 90 minutes in goal and made 10 saves. 

On the season, Bethel's 635:34 minutes and 65 saves are both second-best of any keeper in the AMCC.

Offensively, Shade, Grade Dadzaa, Meghan Stuck and Kahlee Bowen have all scored for Pitt-Bradford.

Pitt-Bradford's men's team is looking to bounce back after facing tough competition in its most recent homestand.

Chase Rider leads the team with three goals, which is tied for second-most in the AMCC.

Ryuta Hayakawa has scored a pair of goals -- both on penalty kicks -- and Dakotah Graham has also scored.

In goal, Sihle Sizani has seen the most time for the Panthers lately, making 31 saves in 495 minutes. His saves total is fifth-best in the conference.

The Mount Aloysius women's team enters AMCC action atop the conference at an unbeaten 6-0-1. The Mounties are ranked No. 8 in the most recent Great Lakes regional ranking.

Mount Aloysius' men's squad welcomes Pitt-Bradford also leading the conference at 6-1-1. The Mounties' 15 total goals are tied with Franciscan for the conference lead.
