Kian Boroujerdi is entering his 2nd year as an assistant coach for Jesse DeLoof and the Panther's men's basketball program.

In his first season with the Panthers, Boroujerdi had multiple on, and off-court responsibilities. Off the court, he created and distributed scouting breakdowns and worked with Coach DeLoof to develop practice plans, and plan game strategies including substitutions and in-game adjustments. On the court he managed the Panthers' defensive gameplan, helping Pitt-Bradford reduce their opponents' points per game by 10, and opponents' field goal percentage by 2%. He also directed small group workouts throughout the season. Additionally, Boroujerdi aided in recruiting a 15-player recruiting class and created and managed a team social media account that amassed 15,000 impressions.

Boroujerdi comes to Bradford from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas men's basketball program where he served as a team manager for the past two years. At UNLV, Boroujerdi worked under coaches TJ Otszelberger and Kevin Kruger. His job responsibilities included preparing the court, weight room, and dining area for team practices and meals, working with players in individual workouts, and collecting team analytic information.

Boroujerdi attended the University of Texas for his undergraduate study. While enrolled at Texas, Boroujerdi was a practice player for the Longhorn's women's basketball program, helping develop skills, and team chemistry while also preparing them for upcoming contests.

Boroujerdi has recently completed a master's degree in Business Administration at UNLV with a concentration in marketing. He also has a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Texas, completed in 2020.
