Jesse DeLoof is the seventh men’s basketball coach in the program’s history. He is entering his 4th year at the helm of the program.

Since returning to Pitt-Bradford in 2020, Deloof has quickly turned around the men's basketball program from a team that won 9 games between 2017 and 2020 to one that has tallied 21 wins in his tenure and returned to the AMCC postseason after a 5-year absence.

Under his direction, Nate Schneider became the 26th player to surpass the 1,000-point barrier, using just two seasons to total 1,141 points. He was a two-time 1st team All-AMCC honoree and was named AMCC Player of the Week 7 times. Two other players have earned conference recognition under DeLoof, as Isaiah Archie was named 2nd Team All-AMCC in 2021-22 and Jeremy Rodriguez was named AMCC Co-Newcomer of the Year in 2022-23

Deloof was a member of Pitt-Bradford’s basketball team from 2009 to 2013. During his four years on the Pitt-Bradford basketball team, he played in 74 games and started in 55, including all 51 of his last two seasons. He was a part of 49 victories and appeared in four AMCC post-season tournaments.

After DeLoof graduated with a degree in sport and recreation management, he remained a part of the program, serving as an assistant coach for three seasons under Head Coach Britt Moore. While DeLoof was on the team’s staff as an assistant, the team compiled 43 victories and three more appearances in the AMCC Tournament, including one trip to the semi-final round.

DeLoof rejoins the Pitt-Bradford community after serving as head boys’ basketball coach at Youngsville High School for three years. DeLoof took over the Eagles following a two-win season, and within three years led the team to 20 victories, a winning season for the first time in 15 years.
