BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will play a pair of games in three days, heading to Franciscan for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference road test Saturday before hosting Middlebury for non-conference action Monday.

Pitt-Bradford is coming off a thrilling double-overtime victory over Pitt-Greensburg Saturday at the KOA Arena for the Panthers' first AMCC win of the season.

Desmond Brogsdale led the way in scoring for the Panthers as he matched his career high with 23 points.

Justin Kusiappouh dropped 21 and grabbed six boards off the bench and Reggie Rogers was also in double-figures with 10 points.

The Panthers overcame a game-tying three-pointer from the Bobcats that sent the game to OT. One overtime period wouldn't be enough, but the Panthers came through with the necessary defensive stops and got it done at the free-throw line to outlast UPG.

As a team, Pitt-Bradford grabs the 28th most steals per game in the nation with 10.6. Brogsdale leads the AMCC and is 33rd nationally with 2.6 steals per game.

Rogers is the team's leading scorer with 13.9 points per game. Brogsdale is also in double-figures with 10 points per game.

Franciscan welcomes the Panthers with a 5-5 overall mark while matching the Panthers with a 1-3 record in AMCC action. The Barons own the conference's top rebounder in Matt Trent, who pulls in the 24th most boards in the nation at 10.8 per game. He's also the 13th best offensive rebounder in the country averaging 4.2 boards per game. Sean Hickey is the team's top scorer with 15 points per game.

Middlebury is one of the nation's best as it enters the week ranking No. 25 in the most recent D3Hoops National Top 25 Poll (Dec. 10). After starting 5-0, the Panthers dropped a pair last week but most recently pulled off a 71-64 win against Skidmore Saturday. A season ago, Middlebury won a pair of games in the NCAA Tournament but had its run cut short against MIT in the Sectional Semifinal. Matt Folger (15.9 points per game), Jack Farrell (15.5) and Max Bosco (15.3) provide a steady offensive input each game. The Panthers are also the top shot blocking team in the country at 6.3 per game and the top defensive rebounding team in the nation at 35.6 boards per game.

Saturday's game at Franciscan is set for a 4 p.m. tip while Monday's matinee will tip at 2 p.m.
