Pitt.-Bradford alum Randy Ruffner re-joined the university's athletic staff as the Director of Recreation, Intramural, and Club Sports in the Spring of 2022.

Ruffner was an active member of Pitt.-Bradford's recreation, intramural and club sports during his time as an undergrad and was a founding member in the school's Physical Education Club. He graduated in 2016 with a degree in Health and Physical Education. 

The Bradford native has coached basketball at Bradford Area High School since 2013 and also served as a substitute teacher for Bradford Area and Otto-Eldred school districts. 

Athletic Director Bret Butler said, " I am very pleased to announce that Randy Ruffner, Jr has accepted our offer to become the Director of Intramurals, Recreation and Club Sports. Randy is a proud alum and is passionate about sports and recreation.  Our students will benefit from his passion, knowledge, and commitment to Pitt Bradford.  He will hit the ground running, as a wide array of intramural and recreation activities are in full swing this fall.  I am excited to welcome Randy aboard."
