Panthers Fall in Four at Fredonia

Fredonia, N.Y. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford volleyball team hit the road once more on Tuesday, as they took on Fredonia, losing to the Blue Devils in four sets.

The Panthers fell behind to begin the match, dropping the opening set 15-25. They battled back to tie the match at one in set two. They opened up a large lead in the set and held off a late Fredonia rally to earn a 25-23 set victory. They were unable to hold on to the momentum, however, as they lost the following two sets 16-25 and 13-25.

Bridget Kasting led the Panthers offense with 6 kills. Emma King and Morgan Frishkorn both added 4 each. Chloe Bellis dished out 15 assists, while also collecting 10 digs. Libero Kayla Maslowski headed the defensive effort, registering 18 digs. She added 2 assists and an ace. 

The Panthers record falls to 1-10 with the loss. They will have 3 days off before hosting the Pitt-Bradford tri-match on Saturday. They will take on Keuka to begin the event, and then Penn College in the finale. The action will begin at 1:00 p.m.
