Women's Tennis Beats Medaille for First Win

The Pitt-Bradford women's tennis earned its first win of the season Thursday, defeating Medaille 6-3 on the road.

The Panthers led 2-0 after doubles, led by wins from its top two teams. Alexa Holleran and Maya Bingaman won 8-6, and the duo of Ashley Stoltz and Amy Thomas won 8-4. In singles action, Bingaman prevailed 6-3, 6-2, Rebecca Jordan rallied to win 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 and Stoltz won 6-4, 6-0. In the final flight, Ava Young fell behind after one but battled back to win 4-6, 6-1, 7-6, winning the tiebreaker in the final set.

Pitt-Bradford improves to 1-3 on the season and 1-2 in the AMCC. The Panthers have a busy weekend ahead with trips to La Roche and Franciscan.
