Panthers Compete At Penn State-Behrend Monday

ERIE, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford swim teams competed at Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference rival Penn State-Behrend at the Junker Center Monday.

The road meet was originally scheduled for Saturday but was pushed to Monday due to severe winter weather.

"The team was very tired and sore today after their last hard weekend of training," Head Coach Doug Alban said. "They all raced more than usual today in the tougher events. We are in a perfect place as we head towards taper time."

Noah Frederick was the first Panther to score in the meet, finishing fourth in the men's 200-freestyle with a time of 2:00.69. Devyn Condon was close behind at 2:02.77.

In the women's 50-freestyle, Kayla Broad finished third at 27.20.

On the men's side, Caleb Hansen grabbed second with a time of 23.47.

Later in the men's 200-butterfly, Condon finished third with a time of 2:16.90.
