ERIE, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford swim teams found gold once again, both teams using school record-breaking times to reach the podium on the third day of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championships.

The Pitt-Bradford men's team is tied with Alfred State for third place with 270 points – just 12 points back from second-place Cabrini.

The Panthers women's team is sixth with 106 points – four back from Franciscan.

The finals began on the right foot as the men's 200-medley relay team grabbed the conference title with a new school record time of 1:36.50.

The team of Corey Koss, Noah Frederick, Nicholas Boyd and Jared Schwab bested the old Pitt-Bradford record time of 1:37.49 for the AMCC win.

Boyd later grabbed a podium spot with a 53.96 finish for third place in the 100-butterfly.

Benjamin Koss then earned a second-place finish in the 200-freestyle with a time of 1:43.57, trimming over two seconds off his preliminary time.

Jillian Wright then earned a piece of Pitt-Bradford history as she captured fourth place in the 100-breaststroke with a school-record breaking time of 1:14.91.

In the men's 100-breaststroke, Frederick grabbed second with a time of 1:00.40.

The Panthers then finished the day on a high note as they dominated the podium in the men's 100-backstroke as Schwab and Corey Koss earned the top-two spots in the event.

Schwab earned the win with a school record-breaking time of 52.48 while Corey Koss finished is 52.78.

Saturday's preliminaries will begin at 10 a.m. with finals for the 1,650-freestyle, 200-backstroke, 100-freestyle, 200-breaststroke, 200-butterfly and 400-freestyle relay starting at 6 p.m.

After the conclusion of Saturday's action, the men's and women's conference champions will be crowned.
