BEREA, Ohio -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's and women's swim teams wrapped up their regular seasons competing at Baldwin Wallace Saturday.

"We had some good races today," Head Coach Doug Alban said. "I got to see everything I needed to as I make our final determinations on events for conferences. The team is really excited to get into full rest mode for the next two and a half weeks." 

Baldwin Wallace topped the Pitt-Bradford men's team, 147-110.

The Panthers women's team swam a tri-meet against the host Baldwin Wallace and Franciscan. Baldwin Wallace came out on top in their home pool with a score of 154 while Franciscan came in second with 56 points. Pitt-Bradford scored 31 total points.

Pitt-Bradford's first victory of the day came from Carey Behm in the men's 1,000-freestyle with a time of 10:50.27, over a minute ahead of the second0place finisher.

Reigning AMCC Men's Swimmer of the Week Benjamin Koss later won the 200-freestyle at 1:48.10.

Corey Koss picked up a victory in the 100-backstroke with a time of 55.09, over three seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.

Kayla Broad finished second in the 100-freestyle with a time of 1:03.07, under two seconds out of the lead.

Benjamin Koss then picked up his second win the 100-freestyle with a time of 48.63, the only swimmer to break 50 seconds in the event.

Corey Koss then earned his second win of the day with a victory in the 200-backstroke in 2:06.84, over three seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.

Jillian Wright picked up the Panthers women's team's first win of the day in the 200-breaststroke with a time of 2:49.59. Danica Andrews finished second in the event at 3:23.93.

Behm's second victory of the day came in the 500-freestyle in dominant fashion, finishing in 5:08.48, 15.13 seconds ahead of the next finisher.

Broad grabbed second in the 100-butterfly with a time of 1:15.44, and Wright later finished second in the women's 100-IM in 1:15.01.

The Panthers men's team finished strong and grabbed first in the 400-freestyle relay as the team of Behm, Devyn Condon, Corey Koss and Benjamin Koss finished in 3:25.02, 7.45 seconds better than the other competing team.

Up next for the Panthers, the squad will prepare for the 2018 AMCC Championships that will be hosted at Penn State-Behrend from Feb. 14-17.
