BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's and women's swim teams hosted Penn State-Altoona Saturday for the second dual meet of the season.

The Pitt-Bradford men's team came out on top, 116-74, with the women's team falling, 122-51.

Saturday's meet began quite similarly to the meet a week ago with the 200-medley relay pool record going down in the second event of the day.

The team of Jared Schwab, Noah Frederick, Nicholas Boyd and Benjamin Koss timed in at 1:40.24, breaking the record set by the Panthers last Saturday.

"The teams performed today at a very high level, especially after a very intense week of training," Head Coach Douglas Alban said. "Being able to switch two guys out of the medley relay and break the pool record again shows the great depth we are building.  There were a number of lifetime bests again on both sides.  If they continue to put in the hard work, they will continue to be rewarded."

Pitt-Bradford's next men's win came in the 1,000-freestyle as Carey Behm (11:09.96) and Boyd (11:13.99) took the top-two spots.

In the women's 200-freestyle, Beyleigh Duda took second place with a time of 2:33.19.

Benjamin Koss took the men's 200-freestyle with a time of 1:49.89.

The first victory of the day for the Panthers women's team came in the 50-freestyle as Kayla Broad timed in at 27.62.

Corey Koss then came away victorious in the men's 50-freestyle with a time of 23.62.

In the men's 200-IM, Lucas Cerchiaro (2:05.19) and Noah Frederick (2:12.63) earned the top-two spots in the event.

Cerchiaro (55.44) and Boyd (58.57) then occupied the top-two spots in the men's 100-butterfly.

Broad then won her second event of the day with a 1:00.79 finish in the women's 100-freestyle.

Schwab (48.92) and Devyn Condon (55.01) later took the top-two spots in the men's 100-freestyle.

In the women's 100-backstroke, Brittney Ciorra timed in at 1:22.04 for a second-place finish.

Corey Koss took first in the men's 100-backstroke, besting his competition by nearly nine seconds with a time of 56.54.

Carey Behm grabbed the last men's win of the day, finishing at 5:23.90 in the 500-freestyle. His time was more than 15 seconds better than the second-place finisher.

Jillian Wright earned the final win for the women's team as she finished at 1:20.42 in the 100-breaststroke.

The Panthers will be off next week before competing in their first road action of the season at Alfred on Nov. 10.
