Women's Swimming in Third After Opening Day of AMCC's

GROVE CITY, PA. - The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's swim team is in third place following the opening day of the AMCC Championships at Grove City College on Thursday evening. 

Ava Young, Elizabeth Prager, Wehonna Toth and Ann Confer finished third in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:49.63. The same quartet finished third in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:37.21.

Confer had the best individual performance of the day, finishing third in the 50 free with a time of 25.67. Young posted a fourth place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 2:36.77 and Prager added a fifth place finish in the 500 free with a time of 5:54.69. 

Penn State Behrend leads the field with 106 points while Cabrini follows with 42 points through just 12 events.

The AMCC Championships continue Friday afternoon at Grove City.
