Dadzaa, Dailey Named AMCC Soccer Players of the Week

Pitt-Bradford women's soccer player Grace Dadzaa was named AMCC Offensive Player of the Week, and teammate Sarah Dailey was tabbed Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

The duo played a big role in leading Pitt-Bradford to two conference wins last week, keeping the Panthers unbeaten in league play.

In the team's 3-0 win over Hilbert, Dadzaa scored the eventual game-winner, and Dailey registered five saves in net to post her second shutout of the season.

Dadzaa netted her second straight game-winner in the Panthers' 1-0 defeat of Franciscan, and Dailey pitched the shutout while collecting four stops.

Dadzaa, a sophomore striker, leads the Panthers in goals scored (4) and total points (8). The Grove City, Pa., native has been at her best in AMCC play, tallying three scores. It marks the first time in her career she has received the conference's weekly honor.

Dailey, a junior, ranks third in the AMCC in shutouts (3) and total saves (83). Her .814 save percentage is good for fourth overall, and she ranks fifth with a 1.48 goals against average. The Butler, Pa., native received the conference's weekly award for the fourth time in her career and first this year.

Dadzaa and Dailey will help Pitt-Bradford (5-4-3) seek its third consecutive win Wednesday when it travels to Medaille.
