Panthers Set to Host DYU in AMCC Semi's

The top-seeded University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's soccer team begins its quest for the program's first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship, Wednesday at 2 p.m. against fifth-seeded D'Youville College at the Kessel Athletic Complex.

The Panthers earned the first seed by finishing atop the AMCC with a record of 7-1-1 in the regular season. Pitt-Bradford has reached the AMCC Championships every since 2009.

The Spartans reached the semifinal round by knocking off fourth-seeded La Roche on Saturday.

Wednesday marks the second time Pitt-Bradford will meet D'Youville this season, with the Panthers winning the first game, 1-0, at D'Youville.

The winner of Wednesday afternoon's game moves on to face the winner of the conference's other semifinal between #2 Penn State Behrend and #6 Penn State Altoona in the AMCC Championship game, which will be played Saturday afternoon at the site of the highest remaining seed.
