BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team picked up its second-straight win in a 76-66 victory over Medaille in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchup Wednesday night.

"We played well together tonight," Head Coach Sharay Hall said. "We shot the ball well, too. Despite a lax second half, we pulled it out by being disciplined down the final stretch."

With the win, the Panthers even up their conference record and improve to 4-4 in AMCC play.

Ali Rinfrette led the Panthers with 25 points, her fourth-straight game of 20+ points and third in the four games with 25+ points.

Jennifer Isenberg scored 18 points to help power the Panther offense, her fourth-straight game scoring in double-figures.

Shaelyn Snipes also put together a strong offensive performance with 15 points.

13 seconds into the contest, Snipes knocked down a three-ball and the Panthers gained an early lead from which they would not look back from as they held the advantage for the final 39:47 minutes of the contest.

Pitt-Bradford came out strong in the first quarter, scoring 23 points on nine field goals while holding Medaille to just 4-16 from the field.

Rinfrette scored nine points in the first quarter, starting her night on 4-5 shooting with a three-pointer in the opening quarter.

The Panthers put together an even strong second quarter, outscoring the Mavericks 25-12.

The Pitt-Bradford defense held the Mavericks to 4-13 shooting for 30.8 percent from the floor during the quarter.

On the offensive side of the ball, Rinfrette and Isenberg took over, scoring eight points apiece.

Anna Colebert provided a spark off the bench, scoring five points in the quarter, including a pair of steals for easy buckets. Colebert tossed a pair of assists in the quarter as well.

After the strong opening 20 minutes, the Panthers took a 48-28 lead into the break.

The two teams saw an even third quarter, with Medaille scoring 16 points and the Panthers dropping 15. 

Pitt-Bradford had its chances but converted on just seven of 21 attempts for 33.3 percent from the field.

Down 63-44 into the fourth quarter, Medaille climbed back and forced the Panthers to defend.

Later on, with a three-pointer followed by a steal on the inbound and a layup, the Mavericks had climbed all the way back to cut the lead to just six points, 70-64, with three minutes to go.

But Etreece Adams responded with a layup on the other end to end the Medaille run and get some momentum back. 

That would be as close as Medaille would get, as the Panthers iced the game with free throws the rest of the way to hold on, 76-66.

On the glass, Adams and Isenberg both led the Panthers with seven rebounds apiece.

Rinfrette led the Panthers with five assists in addition to being the team's top scorer.

Pitt-Bradford grabbed 12 total steals led by three apiece from Rinfrette and Adams.

Up next, the Panthers will host Pitt-Greensburg at the KOA Arena Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
