The game was tied at 66-66.

The shot clock was off. 

Kaserra Owens was on.

The junior forward nailed a 15-foot jump shot with just two seconds left, leading the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team (13-5, 9-2) to a thrilling, 69-66 victory, over AMCC rival Penn State Behrend (9-10, 7-5) on Wednesday night in the KOA Arena. 

Ali Rinfrette led the Panther's offense with 21 points, five rebounds and five assists while Owens added 17 points and a team-high eight boards. Brittany Watts was also impressive with 12 points and six rebounds and Casey Stringer followed with nine points in the victory.

The Panthers and Lions shot an identical 26-64 from the floor. 

Pitt-Bradford cashed in on their free throws, going 15-16 from the stripe while also forcing 20 turnovers on the defensive end.

The two teams went back and forth all night with neither team's lead ever reaching double-digits. 

The Panthers took a 64-61 lead on a Rinfrette layup, prompting a Behrend timeout.

Danie Reinwald then brought the Lions within one at 64-63 after a layup off of a Panther turnover with 3:39 left. 

Rinfrette then extended the Panther's lead to three yet again with a mid-range jumper with 2:37 left.

However, Ali Goetz drilled a long-range jumper, tying the score at 66-66 with just 26 seconds left. Sadie Zielinski and Erika Woll kept the play alive with two offensive boards, making Goetz' three-pointer possible. 

Owens then made the biggest shot of the night, if not the season, with two seconds left.

Behrend called a timeout to advance the ball past half court, however Stringer fouled as soon as Behrend inbounded the ball, to make sure the Lions couldn't get a three pointer off to potentiall tie the game. 

The Lions missed both free throws and Watts pulled down a huge defensive rebound to seal the Panther's victory.

The Panthers return to action Saturday afternoon at three against Pitt-Greensburg in the KOA Arena.
