Rinfrette, Watts, Lead UPB Women to Victory at Medaille

BUFFALO – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team got right back on track with a dominating, 88-55, victory at Medaille on Monday night.

Ali Rinfrette was incredible yet again with another double-double, posting 29 points and 11 reblunds. Brittany Watts followed with 16 points off of the bench whil Abby Brate rounded out the Panthers in double figures with 12 points and a team-high seven assists. Casey Stringer chipped in with eight points and seven boards and Kaserra Owens added nine points in the victory.
Marceann Dunning led the Mavericks with 15 points while Rayann Call and Taina Graham chipped in with 12 points each in the loss.

The Panthers dominated from start to finish, outscoring Medaille 23-10 in the first quarter, 26-17 in the second, 19-15 in the third and 20-13 in the fourth. 

Pitt-Bradford outrebounded the Maverick 48-36 while also holding a 26-12 advantage in bench points. The Panther defense did what it's done all season, forcing 19 turnovers, which led to a 19-12 advantage in points off of turnovers. 

The Panthers led by as many as 37 with 2:31 left.

The Pitt-Bradford women return to action Saturday afternoon at four at Franciscan.
