Fredonia's Offense Powers Past UPB

FREDONIA, N.Y. - The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team suffered an 84-50 loss Wednesday night at SUNY-Fredonia in non-conference action.

Kasey Stringer led the Panthers offense with 14 points and seven rebounds. Abby Brate added 12 points and six rebounds while Ali Rinfrette and Brittany Watts added six points each in the loss.

Sabrina MacAulay led the relentless Blue Devil offense with 27 points and 19 rebounds and Jenna Einink added 15 points and 16 rebounds. Alexis Cheatham added 18 points while Khlee Nance and Jacque Law chipped in with nine points each in the victory. 

Fredonia opened the game on a 26-11 run in the opening quarter, and really put the game out of reach in the second quarter, outscoring the Panthers 24-13 to take a 50-24 lead at the half.

The Panthers return to action Wednesday, Jan. 6 at Hilbert at 8 p.m.
