Pitt-Bradford Softball Hosts CARE for Children Clinic

Bradford, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford softball team hosted their annual CARE for Children clinic last week, an event where they pair with the local youth organization for a night of fun, instruction, and softball.

Pitt-Bradford softball team members and coaches worked with the children in attendance at hitting, fielding, and throwing stations, before combining all the skills for a fun game.

CARE for Children is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of children of all abilities.

"This is always a great night and something we enjoy every September," said head coach Tina Phillips. "It's so great to collaborate with the great group at CARE for Children, and it always puts a smile on your face when the participants ask us when we can do it again."
