Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford softball team has released its competition schedule for the 2020 season. They are scheduled to play 40 games this season, including 14 games at neutral sites and 10 double-headers against AMCC opponents. 

The Panthers will begin their season in February, with an early trip to Roanoke, Va. where they will play 4 games at the Mountain Mash. A week later, they will continue their season with a week long trip to Tucson, Az. to play in the Tucson Invitational. They will play 10 games against 9 different teams over 6 days.

Their AMCC schedule begins when they return from Arizona with a trip to Franciscan on Saturday, March 21st. Their first scheduled home contest is on March 28th, as they will host Mount Aloysius for a doubleheader. The Panthers will play 8 straight conference matchups before closing their regular season with two non-conference double-headers against SUNY Delhi and Elmira.

Head Coach Tina Phillips said, "Our goal is to play a competitive non-conference slate every season to prepare us for AMCC play.  That is the case this season as we have some teams that are defending conference champions or amongst the tops in their conferences.   With our team having a nice mix of upperclassman and a strong freshmen class, I am looking forward to the challenge, especially when we return to Arizona."

Their first game is scheduled for Friday, February 28th at 12:00 p.m. against Roanoke.
