Men's Tennis Falls to Lions

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team was swept by Penn State-Behrend in a pair of AMCC matches on Saturday.

The Panthers struggled to get started in their first match against the Lions as after dropping both doubles matches 8-0, they also struggled in singles play as only Alexander Maduakor was able to win a game in their match. He fell 6-1, 6-1 in the third pairing.

In match two, the Panthers were unable to win any sets, but improved their performance. Maduakor and Jermal Coleman were able to win 2 games in the second doubles pairing to start the match. In singles play Luke Gratz pushed his match to the limit, falling 7-5, 7-6 Patrick Tolerico was able to win 4 sets in his match in the second pairing, while MAduakor fell at #3 6-2, 6-3.

The Panthers drop to 0-7 on the year and 0-6 in AMCC play. They have wrapped up their scheduled fall season. Schedule updates for the rest of their matches will be made as soon as changes occur.
