Men's Tennis Falls to Pitt-Greensburg

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team made their 2021 home debut on Friday night, losing to Pitt-Greensburg 9-0.

Pitt-Bradford fell 8-0 in the top doubles match, but was able to muster a point in the second match, as Felix Moronge and Jermal Coleman lost 8-1. In Singles play Chris Dixon was able to win a game in the 2nd matchup. Luke Gratz picked up 2 games at the 4th pairing and Coleman got a point at number 5. 

The Panthers struggled to score against the more experienced Bobcats but still showed improvement throughout the match. After the action, both the players and head coach Susan Schenfield spoke of improvement in the length and quality of the rallies throughout the matchup.  

The Panthers will be right back in action, as they will host their second match in as many days at the Kessel Athletic Complex. They will host Mount Aloysius for an AMCC conference match-up. Play is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
