Panthers Fall To Alfred In Season Opener

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team opened up its 2019-20 season Saturday hosting Alfred.

The Saxons came out on top, 7-2, in the season opener.

After the Saxons swept doubles action, Jacob Volz picked up the victory in No. 1 singles with a 6-4, 6-3 victory.

Pitt-Bradford's second and final point of the day came from Jacob Schlegel in the No. 6 spot as he won 6-3, 6-2.

Up next, Pitt-Bradford will head to Westminster on Saturday, Sept. 14 for its second non-conference match.
