Panthers Conclude First Day Of St. Bonaventure Fall Classic

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team completed its first day of action in the St. Bonaventure Fall Classic today, first playing singles against the host St. Bonaventure before completing a full match against Roberts Wesleyan.

The Bonnies took all six singles matches in the morning's action and will wrap up the match with doubles on Sunday.

Roberts Wesleyan then took all three doubles matches and all six singles matches over the Panthers in the afternoon's action.

In No. 2 singles, Jacob Volz gave his opponent a tight match but ultimately fell, 6-1, 6-2.

Matthew Gram put up a competitive fight in his No. 3 singles match as well.

The Panthers will start action on Sunday with doubles against St. Bonaventure in the morning and a full match against Niagara in the afternoon.
