Pitt-Bradford Drops AMCC Matches to Penn State Behrend and Franciscan

BRADFORD, Pa. - The Pitt-Bradford men's tennis team dropped a pair of AMCC matches this weekend, falling 9-0 to both Penn State Behrend and Franciscan.

Against Penn State Behrend, the doubles teams of Matt Dennis and Jacob Domes and Andrew Hoyt and Alex Jadlowiec each lost 8-1. John Parsell and and Tyler Richmond were edged 8-5.

In singles action, Dennis, Richmond, Hoyt and Jadlowiec all lost their flights 6-0, 6-0. Domes suffered a 6-0, 6-1 setback, and Drew Patla fell 6-1, 6-0.

Against Franciscan, Domes and Richmond were defeated 8-2, and Dennis and Jadlowiec lost 8-1. The duo of Parsell and Hoyt were clipped 9-8, losing the tiebreaker 7-2.

Richmond, Dennis and Jadlowiec suffered straight set defeats in singles play (6-0, 6-0), and Hoyt was turned back 6-0, 6-2. Parsell lost 6-2, 6-1, and Patla fell 6-2, 6-4.

Pitt-Bradford drops to 2-8 on the season and 1-4 in the AMCC.
