Alfred Slips Past Pitt-Bradford Men's Tennis

Alfred edged the Pitt-Bradford men's tennis team 5-4 Tuesday night at the Saint Bonaventure Fitness Center in Olean, New York.

The Panthers' only win in doubles play came from the duo of Tyler Dugan and Tyler Richmond, who won 8-2. Pitt-Bradford's No. 3 flight of John Parsell and Andrew Hoyt was narrowly defeated 9-7.

In singles action, Dugan rolled 8-2 in the top flight, and Richmond prevailed 8-5 in the No. 3 spot. Parsell was victorious 8-6, but Alfred won the final two individual matchups by identical 9-7 scores to slip past the Panthers.

Pitt-Bradford drops to 2-4 on the season and travels to Penn State Altoona for an AMCC match.
