The Pitt-Bradford men's tennis team returned to action for the first time this semester Thursday and lost 9-0 to Houghton.

Both of the Panthers' top two doubles teams lost 8-1, and the No. 3 team of John Parsell and Matt Dennis fell 8-3.

In singles action, Kosta Teveroskiy lost 8-3, Tyler Dugan suffered an 8-2 setback and Alex Jadlowiec was defeated 8-1. Tyler Richmond, Dennis, and Parsell each lost their singles match 8-0.

"We played a very steady Houghton team," head coach Susan Schenfield said. "We were consistent ball strikers from both side.

"We will continue to work on serves and believe in ourselves. It will all start there."

Pitt-Bradford drops to 1-2 on the season and travels to Erie Saturday to face Ohio Northern.
