Pitt-Greensburg Cruises Past UPB Men's Tennis

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team fell, 9-0, at Pitt-Greensburg late Saturday evening.

John Parsell and Kosta Tevrovsky gave the Panthers their best chance at a point, losing 8-7, 7-5 at first doubles.

"Kosta and John lost in a close tiebreaker," said Pitt-Bradford head coach Susan Schenfield. "They had some powerful forehands, backhands and some well-timed precociously savy net play throughout their match.

The Bobcats then cruised to victory in each of the eight remaining matches to take the victory.

"As a team, we played with some easy power and variety," Schenfield said. "We need to continue to push each other and keep playing our game."

The Panthers wrap up the AMCC regular season slate Sunday afternoon at 3:30 at Franciscan.
